About Static Loft

Static Loft is a one-person practice. There are no account managers and no hand-off between the person who designs your site and the person who builds it. Every plan is built, deployed, and maintained directly by me.

I’ve spent more than fifteen years as a software engineer, architecting enterprise systems, cloud infrastructure, and high-availability distributed platforms for large organizations. That background is exactly why I build small-business sites the way I do: on infrastructure I’d trust for anything else I build, not a stack of plugins held together with hope.

Why static sites

Outside of client work, I run my own self-hosted infrastructure: containerized services, automated reverse proxies with full TLS encryption, and site-to-site networking. Static sites deployed on a global CDN are the same philosophy applied to small-business websites. Fewer moving parts, nothing to patch at 3am, and pages that load fast because there’s no database or plugin stack in the way.
